MMA Referee A Hardcopy of the Workbooks may be downloaded and printed for use. 
MMA Referee A full glossary of MMA Terms and Techniques. 
MMA Referee 30 Videos of fighters performing real techniques, holds, submissions, and throws. 
MMA Referee Testing of the student on each Section via an end-of-unit Quiz. 
MMA Referee "Hands-on" testing of the student by a Master karate instructor or Certified Referee. 
MMA Referee Shadowing of Certified Referee or Judge. 
MMA Referee Testing of the student by having them ref or judge real fights; results must be submitted to the facilitator. 
MMA Referee A Final "100-Question" Exam (in both courses.)
MMA Referee GPA of 85% or better, required to pass the courses.


NOTE - NOT IN THE U.S.A.? MMA Referee If you're not in the U.S.A., and you want to at least learn the rules and regulations that make up the Unified MMA Rules, then this online Workshop is perfect for you! When you take this course, it will help you learn what you need to know, so you can share the knowledge and information you've learned with your local country's athletic commissions.     Cost: $149.00
    Full MMA Referee Training Course: The lessons in this workshop are intended to help the student focus on making the transition to referee and to review the implications of the MMA Unified Rules of Conduct (MMAURC). After taking the ELITE MMA Referee and/or Judge's Workshop, in conjunction with your hands-on experience, you should be able to demonstrate the required knowledge and expertise to a licensing board.
  • MMA Referee Training 1
    The first half of our MMA Referee Training Course. For this Workshop option, click on the "MMA Referee Training 1" link to get started! The cost is only $75.00. (NOTE: You should ONLY choose this option if you're splitting up your payments!)
  • MMA Referee Training 2
    The second half of our MMA Referee Training Course. If you're ready to move on to Sections 6-10, then click on the "MMA Referee Training 2" link to complete your training.     MMA Judge's Workshop: Don’t complain about the MMA Judges – BECOME ONE! In this course, MMA Judging-Candidates will learn about the following:
    • Judge's Code of Conduct, Conflicts of Interest, dealing with the media, socializing with others at a venue, etc.;
    • The MMA Unified Rules of Conduct and other MMA regulations;
    • The martial arts systems that make up MMA;
    • Proper scoring and scoring issues;
    • How to deal with an unruly crowd;
    • The proper way to deal with a “hometown favorite”;
    • How to break down a five minute round;
    • Working with the referees.

This is NOT How to Referee!

See - here's the thing. The ref is the boss. When the ref says "stop", you STOP, or suffer the consequences. Now this isn't MMA, although it almost could be with these 2 black belts going at each other, but it IS an example of the incorrect way to deal with an out of control fighter.

TO RECAP:
Fighters - do what the ref tells you to do. PERIOD.

Refs - Take the online refereeing course by ELITE MMA Referees so you know the PROPER way to handle wayward fighters!
